Remembering Dr. Tina
All of us here at Carousel Pediatrics were deeply saddened by the death on September 27, 2006, of our dear friend and colleague Dr. Kathleen McMahan.
As many of you know, "Dr. Tina" was diagnosed eight years ago with breast cancer. She maintained her spirit and her hopes throughout her many treatments and medications. Her plan always was to somehow return to care for her many devoted patients here at Carousel.
Even displaced by the storm, she stayed hopeful, and in spring 2006 was happily able to return to New Orleans and to move back into her rebuilt home. Her next goal, to return here to the office, was never to be.
We all miss her tremendously, and hope that each of you will hold her in your thoughts and prayers.
