Billing
Our fees are comparable with those of other qualified pedatricians in the area. These fees go toward the many expenses of running a quality practice.
We hope you find the following payment policies to be fair:
- All payments are due at the time service is rendered. This helps us keep the expenses of billing to a minimum. For your convenience, the types of payments we accept include cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
- Insurance contracts are between you and your insurance company. You are responsible for paying your portion of the bill. Our office is contracted with only a few insurance companies.
- Our office participates in these insurance network plans: Aetna, American Lifecare, Avondale, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Best Care, Cigna, Community Care Network, Coventry, EJMA, First Health, New Orleans Choice, Ochsner, PPO Plus, Private Health Care Systems, State Employee Group Benefits, Tricare, Tenet Choices, Tenet Select, United Healthcare, Universal, and USA Network.
Please inform us before your visit if you belong to a health insurance network such as those listed above. If our office participates in that plan, we will need to work with you in filing your claims.
If you have any problems with your account, please visit or call our billing or insurance staff. We would much rather communicate with you in person than through the mail. Our office staff will be glad to assist you in filing your insurance claims, setting up a payment plan, or answering any billing questions you may have. You also can contact us via email.
